Silicon carbide seal ring with Lighter, harder, and more wear-resistant

Lightweight: silicon carbide's density of about 3.1 g/cm ³, more than half lighter than steel

Ultra high hardness: silicon carbide's Mohs hardness can reach up to 9.2-9.5, and when used for mechanical seals and bearings, its wear resistance life far exceeds that of hard alloys or bearing steels.


Silicon carbide seal pump : Excellent high temperature resistance and thermal stability

Good high-temperature strength maintenance:  silicon carbide is able to maintain high strength and hardness above 1400 ° C, while metals (such as steel) will significantly soften above 600 ° C.

Low coefficient of thermal expansion: silicon carbide density is about 1/3 of that of steel, the size is minimally affected by temperature changes, making it very suitable for precision workpieces or components with frequent thermal cycles.
